Delta has announced that they will be charging higher fees for checked bags. As they are probably working to try and recover some of their losses, they won’t be pleasing any travelers. With the increased problems travelers are having at the airport, it might hurt Delta rather than help.

Passengers paying online for checked bags will be charged $23 for the first bag and $32 for the second — an $8 and $7 increase from current rates, respectively.
