President Obama spoke Thursday, January 7, 2010 about security concerning air travel. He plans on implementing new security measures that enhance our safety while still being efficient. By his speech yesterday, it appears his hopes are to have these new security measures in place very soon.

Obama said the country is now setting aside “significant investments” to deploy and develop enhanced screening methods and technology. He also called for improved international airport scanning procedures and technology.
